Cooperative Storm CV pays out 5% dividends for the 9th year running.
The ninth Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Storm CV was held last Saturday, 13 May. This time the event was held in the beautiful Van der Valk Hotel in Antwerp, where we received approximately one hundred cooperative participants.
The past financial year was examined and the usual subjects, including the adoption of the annual accounts and the dividend payment for the financial year 2022, were discussed. Those attending enjoyed a pleasant and cosy reception after the meeting.
It gives us great pleasure to be able to announce that our cooperative continues to grow. In the meantime, Storm CV has gathered no fewer than 4,081 cooperative participants who have jointly invested an impressive amount of over 10 million euros in the various Storm wind farms, which are located in Wachtebeke, Wielsbeke, Maasmechelen, Westerlo, Geel, Meer, Dilsen-Stokkem, Desselgem, Lokeren, Zandvliet, Minderhout, Retie, Pelt, Melsele, Zoersel, Geraardsbergen and the Port of Ghent . The capital that the cooperative participants contributed goes directly to the investment in the Storm wind farms.
This investment has now once again rendered the cooperative participants a dividend of 5%. Storm CV has consistently paid a 5% dividend since it was established in 2014, which makes it the energy cooperative yielding the highest dividend in Belgium.
