Minister Tommelein officially inaugurates the wind farm in Lokeren together with young cooperants.

The Storm wind farm in Lokeren was officially inaugurated this morning by Bart Tommelein, Deputy Prime Minister of the Flemish Government and Flemish Minister of Finance, Budget and Energy. He was assisted by a few young cooperants of the wind farm.
Around fifty cooperants and their families attended the inauguration of 'their' wind farm.
The construction of the wind farm started in the spring of 2016. 263 residents of Lokeren, Lochristi, Zele and Berlare invested in the wind farm through the cooperative Storm CVBA.

The Storm wind farm Lokeren consists of four wind turbines and is located north of the E17 highway near the town of Heiende (province of East Flanders).
