Open Site Day Geraardsbergen.

On Sunday 24 April, we invited the local residents of our new wind farm at Geraardsbergen for a visit to the building site. Conditions for a site visit were excellent, with two tower sections already erect and the remaining large parts still on the ground. The rotors, the nacelle, the tower parts, everything was there, ready for close-up inspection. The large crane was already in place, ready to start lifting the remaining tower sections in place the following day.
You could really tell Storm’s wind turbine is the first one in the area by the massive public interest the Open Site generated. In fact, we welcomed well over a thousand visitors on the site.

Into the wind farmGeraardsbergen
The Storm wind farm in Geraardsbergen consists of one wind turbine and is located south of the industrial park Schendelbeke along the N42 (province of East Flanders).
