Last Thursday, the rotor of wind turbine 3 of the Storm wind farm in Lokeren was lifted in place. Initially the lift was planned to happen at dawn, but windy weather the previous day caused a bit of a delay.
During a rotor lift there has to be next to no wind. We are usually very happy at Storm when it's windy, but not during this crucial phase. The rotor is very large and can be difficult to maneuver because of the wind.

The Storm wind farm Lokeren consists of four wind turbines and is located north of the E17 highway near the town of Heiende (province of East Flanders).
